Goodwill Responds to Hurricane Katrina

Rebuilding Lives and Communities Affected by Hurricane Katrina

Many Goodwills are supporting relief efforts for those affected by Hurricane Katrina. Some are  setting up job fairs to help people find work and begin to rebuild their lives. Some Goodwills are making financial contributions to reputable relief organizations, or to the fund for Goodwill employees and their families. Some are working in coordination with local Red Cross efforts to distribute vouchers for clothing. Read more about these activities in this special online section devoted to Goodwill responses to Hurricane Katrina.

Letters to Goodwill
Financial donations from the public and from Goodwills around the world helped the Goodwills affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita last year.

Katrina was a very difficult ordeal for my family and me; but it is the generosity and caring of people like you that have made it bearable.
- Sincerely, Joan (Kenner, LA)
