David Hadani to Chair Goodwill Industries International's Board of Directors

Rockville, MD – The Board of Directors of Goodwill Industries International®, Inc., has elected David Hadani as its new chair.  Hadani took office during Goodwill’s® annual Delegate Assembly, held in Washington, DC, June 28-July 1, and will serve a one-year term,

Hadani is the CEO of Nebraska Heavy Industries, based in Lincoln, NE.  Before joining NHI, he served as principal with MVC Capital, a New York-based business development corporation and private equity investment firm.  At MVC, Hadani was responsible for multiple investments in a variety of industries, such as manufacturing, financial services, food service and medical devices.  Prior to MVC, he was senior director and general manager of Philips Electronics Mobile Display Systems Emerging Display Technologies business, overseeing the industrialization and commercialization of new display technologies.  Hadani also was senior director of purchasing and partner manufacturing for Philips Mobile Display Systems, based in Hong Kong, and general manager of the display/human interface business.  Prior to Philips, Hadani served in various roles in corporate development, turbocharging systems and electronic materials at AlliedSignal, Inc.

Hadani earned his MBA from Duke University and B.S. in business administration from Washington University in St. Louis. In addition to Goodwill Industries International’s Board of Directors, Hadani serves on the boards of Ohio Medical Corporation, Vitality Foodservice, Inc., and Vestal Manufacturing Enterprises, Inc.
